JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Title: Investment Promotion Manager
Reports to: CEO – Telangana Life Sciences Foundation
Department: Telangana Life Sciences Foundation– Project Management Unit
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana
Number of Positions 2-3

ROLE OBJECTIVE:
The overall objective is to support the investment promotion efforts of Telangana Life Sciences team. Telangana Life Sciences is the single point of contact for all the investments in the state for Life Sciences, Pharma and Medical Devices sector.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Preparation of investment promotion strategy for Telangana Life Sciences
• Creation of online and offline content for investment promotion of Life Sciences sector in Telangana (websites, brochures, presentations, etc)
• Handholding and facilitation for existing and new investors in Life Sciences sector- site visit, query clarification, DPR analysis and after care
• Build a database of investors and stakeholders
• Undertake aggressive promotions to market the initiative and attract investments such as roadshows,
  participation and representation in different forums locally and internationally
• Transaction advisory for critical projects in Lifesciences sector
• Stakeholder management with officials and companies
• Support the team in formulating policies, schemes and measures to improve the overall Life Sciences ecosystem in the state
• Conduct extensive sector-specific, industry research, extensive data collection and compilation to prepare
  reports and proposals

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Qualification:

• Master’s Degree or MBA from Premier Institute (with specialisation in marketing preferred)

Minimum Experience:

• At least 3-5 years’ work experience in Investment Promotion / Consulting / Strategy / Marketing / Investment Banking

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

• A problem-solving approach, data driven decision making and strong project management skills
• Knowledge of Life Sciences sector (preferred)
• Experience of working with state and central government (preferred)
• Excellent Research and Communication skills
• Ability to work in teams and independently take responsibility of delivering key results
• Demonstrative and analytical abilities
