Program Details

The program is in close coordination with the Uttar Pradesh State Government for end to end implementation of a public policy. RightWalk Foundation has entered into an MoU with the Uttar Pradesh State Government to strengthen the implementation of the policy. It has the capacity to impact the lives of 20,000 to 50,000 youth secure employment and focuses on ‘earning while learning’. Also, the scheme is from one of the top three priority schemes of the Chief Minister’s office and is closely followed.

Purpose of the Role

The position reports to the Program Director and is responsible to coordinate and liaise with stakeholders across different levels on driving implementation of the program.

The position holder will support in maintaining relations with all stakeholders working closely with the State Government. The individual will be responsible for maintaining communication with the stakeholders (Government, industries (large and MSMEs), Industry Associations, donors and beneficiaries), sharing regular updates and reports.

Areas of Responsibility

The tasks/responsibilities are supported by existing critical employees who will report into the position holder.

  • Working closely with the Project Director, Project Manager, Project Management Unit (PMU), Steering Committee and Government to establish strong working relationships
  • Development and successful delivery of stakeholder engagement plans in accordance with the overarching stakeholder engagement strategy
    Manage stakeholder mapping and prepare communications to stakeholders and respond to stakeholder enquiries
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the project team, providing briefings and support for meetings with stakeholders and steering committee
  • Prepare and manage workshops, roundtable and forum logistics including developing agendas, project plans, minute taking and production of reports
  • Ensure accurate audit trail maintained of all stakeholder engagement and all contact/activities are recorded on stakeholder database
  • Attend stakeholder-facing meetings, collaborative planning workshops and report to Government as well as donors on progress
  • Provide input into weekly/monthly reports for Project Board
  • Establish working relationships and collaborative arrangements with community groups, donors, NGO Partners, government agencies and other organizations to help achieve the goals of the organization
  • Represent the organization at community engagement events and stakeholder meetings
  • Supporting the organization in developing new partnerships and resource mobilization

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

  • Post-graduate degree in social sciences, management or social work
    4 – 7 years of experience in stakeholder management and partnerships in the development sector
  • Result orientation, effective leadership, strong communication skills, stakeholder management, strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with people from varied backgrounds and levels
  • Significant experience of managing engagement with one or more of the stakeholder cohort
  • Experience in developing and successfully implementing stakeholder engagement plans
  • Good interpersonal and networking skills, highly articulate team player
  • Strong people management skills
  • Familiarity with using various CRM systems essential
  • High degree of accuracy in executing work
  • Ability to schedule work and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Broader project communications experience and skills desirable
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, without support staff and with little supervision

Compensation

Remuneration will be competitive and will depend upon the candidate’s experience level.
