We’re looking for a Public Relations Associate to help the Lead – PR design and implement a well-crafted PR strategy, aimed at telling our inspirational brand story to the world and getting to our public to love us. This role sits at the center of a complex organizational matrix and requires the incumbent to maintain constant visibility into the fast-evolving business and marketing priorities of all our Corporate Services and Social Impact initiatives. Working in conjunction with the PR Lead, the PR Associate will collaborate on an ongoing basis with internal and external stakeholders to help craft and deliver a compelling brand narrative to the media and other public.
What you’ll do:
- Network and collaborate with all Corporate Services and Social Impact initiatives to stay constantly updated on their business plans/priorities and marketing calendars
- Help drive the storytelling engine for RoundGlass India by bringing together all the elements and relevant stakeholders, including:
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand their marketing and business priorities and the key messages they want to convey to our publics
- Advising on PR campaigns and activities that can be undertaken to amplify these messages among our publics, especially the media
- Acting as the liason between the Lead – PR, internal stakeholders, our PR agency partner, the media, and other external stakeholders
- Helping drive the actual storytelling in different formats in alignment with our business objectives
- Help drive efficiencies and streamline and enable processes related to storytelling, creation of media and organizational assets, media trainings, media interactions, etc
- Prepare and maintain a calendar of PR activities and campaigns aligned to the priorities and needs of all our Corporate Services and Social Impact initiatives
- Ensure content sourcing and creation to implement the above activities, supported by PR Content and
- Design resources, for our respective Corporate Services and Social Impact initiatives for the purpose of storytelling to our publics
- Collaborate with our PR agency partner to track and monitor their work on a day-to-day basis to ensure smooth and effective execution of PR activities
- Keep an ear to the ground and be responsible for PR outcome tracking and reporting
Who we’re looking for:
- Approximately 10 years of experience in PR/corporate communications, including 4-5 years in a PR agency of repute (a must)
- A strong inclination towards and experience implementing integrated communications strategies with a solid understanding of digital and social media
- Exposure to both traditional PR tools and processes as well as a creative, storytelling approach to PR
- Experience working in a global/multi-cultural environment and exposure to global best practices in terms of culture and processes (a must)
- Experience working on global consumer brands in the wellbeing sector/large MNC startups/consumer tech or welltech space will be a plus
- A creative-thinking, problem-solving, and go-getter attitude
- Experience handling teams of 4-5 people and working closely with content and creative teams
- Experience in working on media trackers (print and social media)
- Adept in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and advanced social media dashboards
