The Role Responsibilities

Job Role

Senior Lead for Finance Change supporting the Aspire Programme with an emphasis on Sustainability / ESG, to deliver a scalable technology solution which includes common Data Mapping and data platform, interface to upstream and downstream as well as external reporting (regulatory disclosures included).

Strategy

Define interim and strategic state of solutioning, business processes and architecture roadmap for sustainability / ESG within the remit of GCFO.

Business

Lead discussions on business requirements with the Finance community as well as Business to solution for Sustainability / ESG reporting assurance and governance including

  • Good mixture of business and technical background to translate business requirements.
  • Stakeholder management – I admit that new hire will have a steep learning curve.
  • Process governance expertise to contribute to operating model development.
  • Data analytics and solutioning for accounting and financial reporting.
  • Experience with data modelling and functional design.
  • Data quality assurance and controls.
  • Good project management.

Processes

  • Lead the solutioning for Sustainability / ESG reporting, finance governance and assurance and disclosures through constructive development of detailed requirements and discuss options for design of functionality with Technology teams and other functions, where required.
  • Lead Finance team through testing phase, by performing testing, sharing test results and / or provide guidance based on knowledge of new TP system and architecture flows to finance systems.
  • Ensure implementation in sustainability / ESG solution architecture fulfilling business and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure mapping into Aspire and perform testing of the common model post implementation by technology.
  • Perform data mapping into a common data model across end-to-end infrastructures across the Bank.
  • Participate in management meetings and update PMO with project status.
  • Perform analysis and explore options to resolve issues identified.
  • Prepare project documentation and tracker as required.
  • Escalate critical issues for management attention.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • The candidate should be a university graduate with extensive Banking experience.
  • Expertise in data management is preferred.
