Graphic Designer (Short Term Consultant) – Central Square Foundation

Central Square Foundation is a nonprofit organization working with the vision of ensuring quality school education for all children in India. Since 2012, we have been partnering with the government, and ecosystem stakeholders to improve the learning outcomes of children, especially from low-income communities. We are driven by our mission to enable the school education system to adopt solutions that are scalable, sustainable and effective, so that all children get equal access to opportunities needed for leading a better life.

Central Square Foundation is working with the Government of Telangana on improving foundational literacy and numeracy outcomes in the state. As part of this engagement, we are looking to hire a Graphic Designer for a period of 3-6 months.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Graphic Designer will work closely with State PMU to perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:

• Responsible for building awareness and salience around FLN (Tholimettu)
• Play a leading role in building innovative communication approaches and campaigns
• Conceptualizing posters and visuals based on requirements
• Creating images and layouts by hand or using design software
• Content writing as per the requirement
• Handling social media for State FLN program

Required Skills/Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or above, in any discipline.
• Candidates with prior experience in designing illustrations, posters, logos, videos & layouts
• Candidates who have experience working with media teams and agencies, including copywriters, graphic designers, video editors, animators, etc are preferred
• Flexible with work timings and able to multitask efficiently
• Proficiency in Telugu (speaking/script writing) preferred

Compensation Remuneration will be competitive and will depend upon the candidate’s experience levels.
