Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) is India’s first & largest cross-party political advocacy group, widely credited to have revolutionized election campaigning in India. I-PAC is the platform of choice for students and young professionals to participate in and make a meaningful contribution to political affairs, grassroot development and governance of the country without necessarily being part of a political party.
About Youth In Politics Fellowship:
The Youth In Politics (YIP) Fellowship is an 11-month program offered to highly motivated young individuals interested in politics and wanting to make a positive impact on the lives of people in Andhra Pradesh. It is a full-time program, where participants will have the chance to
- Work with experienced mentors from I-PAC
- Gain hands-on experience in engaging with various stakeholders at the grassroots level
- Sharpen their political acumen and technical skills
- Gain in-depth knowledge of political and social issues in the state
Job Description:
- Travel across the assigned geography and collect on-ground information to develop thorough understanding of the regional politics
- Present research findings and progress to the team and relevant stakeholders
- Continuously stay up to date with the latest happenings in the state
- Serve as the eyes and ears at the grassroots level, understanding and analyzing the pulse of the people
- Take up new challenges and work both independently and in a team as per requirement
Eligibility Criteria
- Age: Less than 30 years
- Education: Minimum Graduation
- Should have a smartphone and own bike/vehicle to travel
- Proficient in Telugu (Speaking, reading, writing) and basic understanding of English (Reading and Writing)
- Not be affiliated with any political party
Remuneration:
- Fellow will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 17,000, as well as a food allowance of Rs. 4,500 and a fuel allowance of Rs. 3,000 per month
- In addition to the above, fellows who continue with the fellowship for more than 5 months (150 working days) will receive a retention bonus of Rs. 15000 (3000 per month) every 5 months.

- Minimum qualification for Fellowship is completed Graduation/Diploma.
- This is an 11-month fellowship for youth in politics.
