The Wipro Nature Forever Society Sparrow Awards has been renamed to the Wipro Nature Forever Society Citizens Conservation Awards. This change better reflects our focus on broader conservation efforts and recognizes inspirational conservationists across all aspects of nature. NOMINATIONS OPEN FOR WIPRO – NATURE FOREVER SOCIETY CITIZENS CONSERVATION AWARDS 2023
The Wipro Nature Forever Society Sparrow Awards have been renamed to the Wipro Nature Forever Society Citizens Conservation Awards. This change better reflects our focus on broader conservation efforts and recognizes inspirational conservationists across all aspects of nature. The awards are back after a 3-year hiatus due to COVID-19.
Nature Forever Society is calling for nominations for exceptional individuals or organizations contributing to the protection and conservation of the environment. Nominees must have made an outstanding, innovative, and inspirational effort towards conserving, sustaining, protecting, and enhancing the environment and should not be professional conservationists or conservation organizations.
Since 2013, Nature Forever Society has partnered with Wipro to support the cause of such individuals. Each winner of the Wipro Nature Forever Society Citizens Conservation Award for the year 2023 will receive support of Rs 50,000/- towards their future work.
AIM OF THE CITIZENS CONSERVATION AWARDS
The aim of the Citizens Conservation Awards is to involve citizens from diverse sections of society in the conservation movement and honor the work of individuals and organizations at the grassroots level for better protection of the environment and biodiversity.
