National Law University Delhi is one of India’s premier law university, offering courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

NLU Delhi through the Centre for Child Rights & Juvenile Justice is undertaking a research project with the support of UNICEF for which it invites applications for the following positions:

1. Research Associate (up to 4 positions)

2. Data Analyst (up to 3 positions)

This is a 6 month project, scheduled to commence in March 2023. It involves analysis of judicial data on POCSO cases, drafting a report on the findings, along with undertaking other allied tasks. The project is a
study of 10 years of POCSO, and draws data from 8 states on various aspects of disposal of POCSO cases. The project will culminate in a research report, and may further be converted into deeper research projects and/or academic publications.

Qualifications & Compensation:
A. Researchers should have at least a graduate degree in law, social work, public policy or other relevant field.

B. Familiarity with criminal law and the Indian criminal justice system is a strong requirement.

C. Data Analysts should be qualified and experienced in data cleaning, data manipulation and visualisation, using MS Excel, Tableau and other software.

D. Remuneration is competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
