Caritas India is hiring for the following positions at New Delhi Location for the Khushaal Bachpan program:
1. Child Protection Specialist (Full Time)–Khushaal Bachpan
Job Description
Role: Partner accompaniment e and accompany the Caritas India staff to implement programs and projects in line with organizational norms and standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
PROGRAM MANAGEMENT: Facilitate and coordinate with the field-based staff through regular correspondence and reporting on program management for monitoring timely implementation of Khushaal Bachpan program in accordance with the quality standards of Caritas India.
- To manage and lead the effective implementation of the child development program in the jurisdiction allocated within the program.
- To contribute and add value toward strengthening the thematic sector in the implementation area.
- To assist in action-oriented baseline survey, research studies and impact assessment studies for evidence-based data to support the program.
- To proactively engage and develop an understanding of the emerging trends in this sectoral and incorporate the new developments as appropriate into Child Development programs with added focus and delivery at the Impact Level.
- To assist the Team Lead with Report Writing, Conceptual Design, Event planning, facilitating trainings and monitoring visits, development of formats and tools in consultation with the consultants and experts.
- Ensure information flow and documentation within the program team
- Facilitate and Lead, action-based research and provide knowledge solutions to make the program more innovative.
- Develop national / state level Caritas India’s Child Development Strategy aligned with the Organizational Strategy.
- To liaison, establish and manage strong partnership network with different stakeholders on the issue of child development.
- Mainstream the perspectives of social equity and inclusion into Caritas India programs with focus on children / gender inclusion.
- Conceptualize new concepts, programs, policies, guidelines, formats and systems, and tools for promoting people led Child Development initiatives and social equity approach in Caritas India interventions.
- Provide facilitation in thematic related area to team members in the monitoring, evaluation and learning for improving programme quality.
- To create state level working committees and or advisory groups to make the program implementation more effective and innovative.
KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT: Support the knowledge management team to contribute to the data management and produce knowledge products.
- Generate, collect and compile data from the programmes implemented.
- Capture case studies and best practices
- Be a part of resource team.

- Ensure that all resources of CI are ethically utilized and optimally managed.

2. Communication and Networking Specialist, Khushaal Bachpan
Job Description
Primary Role
This position will be responsible for exchange, dialogue, and networking in Khushaal Bachpan program coordinating at the National level and guiding state teams in state-level networking and dialogue.
Key Accountabilities:
- Facilitate in the communication of the program progress to concerned team members and other cluster-level stakeholders.
- As a representative of Caritas India in the region, maintain good contacts with relevant authorities and other organizations in the region.
- Identify and facilitate potential local donors from the area in consultation with the line manager.
- Ensure timely meetings with relevant government departments to effectively manage the project activities.
- Drafting concept notes, strategies, or similar technical guidance documents in related program / functional area
- Identify suitable networks and campaigns of civil society organisations on issues relevant to the programme and develop relations with at the national level
- Effectively engaging with all key stakeholders in related thematic on various platforms / networks
- Anchor national level dialogue processes, consultations, and activities.
- Support State teams in building skills and procedures in networking and dialogue at a common standard
- Supporting the state teams in building relations with state chapters of national networks
- Guiding state teams in organising standard multi-stakeholder consultations and campaigns

4. Documentation Associate– Khushaal Bachpan
Job Description
Role: Overseeing the implementation of advocacy strategies of the organization by preparing relevant document and contributing to the Overall objectives of the Organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
I. Documentation Management
- Maintain documentation, such as plans and reports, assigning tasks and controlling schedules to Community Educators & Volunteers as per required formats and timelines.
- Maintain cluster level program documents in the field office.
- Ensure all the relevant data is available and submitted on time.
- Ensure the program process is documented and enough case studies are in place to show the impact or progress of the program.
- Ensure that the data is analysed and feeds into the planning and review meeting
- Prepare concept papers on the issues based on research to be used in the campaigns
- Preparation of reports of each activity (narrative report, photographs, and signatures of meetings) in the field and submit them to Field Program Associate
- Ensure the program process is documented and enough case studies are in place to show the impact or progress of the program
- Submit monthly plans and reports, timesheet, logbook to the Program Associate and the Program Finance Associate.
- Conduct Research, Policy analysis and documentation relating to the thematic issues to get deeper insights into the magnitude of the issues and how the focus group is affected and thus formulate convincing arguments to support the cause of the poor.
- Document the learning from the campaigns for future Campaigns.
II. Knowledge Management
- Conduct knowledge exchange moments with stakeholders, Caritas India staff, Partners, local governance, community, district, state government & Donors to ensure learning and know-how’s among all
- Identify and document as knowledge products emerging from the programs of Caritas India and her partners in the form of case stories, best practices, reports, presentations, photos, videos, government letters, event reports, IEC materials, etc
III. Stewardship of Resources
- Accountable for effective usage and management of all the resources and assets of Caritas India and Ensuring safety and health security of Migrant Workers.
