Job Description:
Job Purpose: The role requires
- A thorough understanding of design, textile, Indian apparel, handicrafts and handlooms.
- Documenting and mapping of Indian arts, craftmanship, and handmade practices at regional, state and national level depository.
- Facilitate orientation and working on Indian art, artform, craft and unique product portfolio mapping for ABFRL business level opportunity
- Identify, distinguish and work with internal subsidiaries on these craft, handlooms, handcrafted textiles for ethics business and cluster development
- In-depth knowledge of challenges faced with ethnic design -based organizations.
- Work with CSO to align sustainable work practices on cluster development, project initiatives and social impact in ESG vision
- Enable it with Sustainability Strategy and growth with knowledge repository, know-how and collaboration with critical stakeholders in ABFRL, ABG and Industries
- Explore partnership and business association with small & medium clusters/ craft-based organization in the field of apparel, textile, handicraft and handlooms
Job context: role holder is expected to:
- Align with group sustainability vision: ABFRL Sustainability to be aligned with sustainability missions in achieving the goals as per our strategy, the current role will be accountable for program management, strategic planning, time management, design development, stakeholder engagement.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to build trusting relationships and interact/negotiate with various parties to translate stakeholder requirements into commercial solutions. The ability to articulate technical speak to functional stakeholders is key.
- Discretion: Integrity and discretion in dealing with sensitive information of internal designer labels, maintain the confidentiality and security of data accessed during the course of daily activities, innovative with a commitment to change and process improvement.
- Effective Communication: Driving the communication of sustainability practices to both internal and external audiences using effective channels.
- Project Management: Managing the project / initiatives for the sustainable growth and cluster development as business case and relevance to brands

- Sustainability Imperative – Design, Product Development and supply chain partnership New design development.

Project Management
- Managing project to make social impact and promote Indian Artisan
- Handling the internal designer labels and subsidiaries for business development Pilot / POC for business and brand case
- Handling collection development and skill training projects.
- Collaborating with stakeholders for promoting the Indian Artisan, Craftmanship and handicraft
- Explore various clusters for unique product portfolio and business value proposition
- Work with external agencies for cluster solution and social empowerment
Capacity Building
- Map all the cluster for unique value and product differential
- Study the capability for scale and pilot in brand fitment and relevance case
- Process mapping and SOP formulation for the product supply, quality and scale
- Monitor the specific cluster for regular follow up, audits and consistency
- Know-how and knowledge repository for the internal designer labels and subsidiaries.
Sustainability Plan
- Drive sustainability initiatives across business subsidiaries.
- Liaise with corporate sustainability function and align all internal practices in line with ABG relevant standards.
- Conduct regular training and awareness on internal quality assurance and sustainability practices to all stakeholders.
- Ensure proper implementation and improvements through process audits and sustainability matrix in the ethnic business / units
Dashboard and Communication
- Drive sustainability performance and dashboard
- ESG alignment on sustainability KPIs in the ethnics business / subsidiaries
- Align digital and technology platform for data collation, report and disclosure
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for annual report and disclosure on all related ESG parameters
- Case study and best practices sharing on social, environment and sustainability information in various designer wear and ethnic brands
Qualifications: Bachelor of Design,PGD in Textile Design & Dev.,Master of Design
Minimum Experience Level: 6-8 Years
