Sparsh Social Foundation (SSF) works with rural communities to promote quality education for tribal communities mainly focusing on women and youth through a digital literacy center. Aimed at solving the problem of availability and accessibility of good quality education, now a child can study anytime from anywhere with the help of a smartphone.

Job Description
The person will be the mentor for all the students assigned to the respective education cafe. He/She will be responsible for monitoring the progress of the children, motivating them to use the app and study and explaining things in the local language if needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Find a suitable location for the café and facilitate setting it up through local vendors
• Enrolling students from designated areas by giving demos in schools OR children who are not going to any school from nearby localities.
• Communicating with identified students to explain them about the app usage and the benefits
• Guiding students on how to use various features of the app. Solve all basic doubts related to app and subjects
• Interacting with parents on the progress of the child; convincing them to allow the children to study via mobile app
• Organize regular activities at the café, at schools or popular localities to motivate children to visit the café and study.
• Monitoring daily progress and encouraging students to use the app
• Manage the café day to day operations including ensuring safety of company assets.
