Participatory Research in Asia (PRIA) : Established in 1982, PRIA (Participatory Research in Asia) is a global centre for participatory research and training based in New Delhi. 1. Senior Program Officer (Research)

Location: Head Office: 42, Tughlakabad Institutional Area, New Delhi 110062

PRIA is looking for a Senior Program Officer (Research) with experience in field based policy-oriented research, analysing global, national and local sectoral trends and linkages to aid decision-making by senior management, organising and participating in dialogues with multiple stakeholders, and write knowledge products with fresh perspectives to influence policy change.

Qualifications

  • A master’s or other post-graduate degree in social science, or any other relevant field with experience of 5-7 years, preferably in non-profit organisations or research organisations
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills in English
  • Willingness to travel extensively
  • Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills

2. Program Officer (Youth Engagement)

3. Consultant – Contract Coordinator

PRIA is looking for a consultantwith relevantexperience in project and contract management,proposal development, client and partner management as well as monitoring the quality and timely delivery of projects. The Consultant will also be responsible for seeking new opportunities for PRIA, engaging, maintaining relations and coordinating with partners and clients. The consultant should be adept at conceptualizing and creatinglong- and short-termstrategies for programme expansion.

Required: Master’s Degree in relevant discipline. The candidatemust have minimumthree to five years of demonstrable experience in consulting, project/client management and/or relationshipmanagement, preferably with corporate sector. Should haveexcellent writing and oral communication skills in English and Hindi. Experienceof proposal development and follow-ups with funding organizations/institutions is must

4. Senior Programme Officer (Climate Change Adaption)

PRIA is looking for a Senior Programme Officer for its Climate Change Adaption Programme, to support poor and marginalised communities to adapt and become resilient to climate change in their daily lives. The Officer will do in-depth research and analysis of climate policies and frameworks (local and global) to provide strategic advice in incorporating climate resilience actions and knowledge in PRIA’s field projects, capacity building and
training programmes, and participatory methods.

Required: Master’s Degree in relevant discipline with a minimum of at least five years of experience (preferably with academic, non-profits and research organizations) in cutting-edge research with in-depth analysis of impacts of climate change. Candidate should have excellent communication skills in English (writing and speaking).

Other terms and conditions

Initial appointment on a contract for 12 months, extendable for a longer period on the basis of performance reviews.

Salary: Negotiable based on qualifications and experiences.
