1. Digital Marketing Manager

Location: New Delhi/ Bangalore/Mumbai, India

Job Description

Social Alpha is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager who can work on brand projects and contribute to the creation of digital experiences. Manage work efficiently, generate ideas collaboratively with the team, and must have a passion for content. The Digital Marketing Manager will work across multiple platforms to drive engagement and positive customer behaviour.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

  • Create a strong online presence for Social Alpha that fuels our growth, builds the brand, and creates awareness
  • Build, maintain, and execute a roadmap of digital projects, deliverables, and initiatives – organic and paid
  • Provide effective feedback on images, copy and campaigns. Giving actionable feedback to content design for continuous improvements.
  • Compile, review and communicate monthly/quarterly qualitative and quantitative reports on digital marketing performance, driving actionable insights for future efforts; communicate best practices and share lessons learned throughout the organization
  • Collaborate with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) team to drive performance and effectively optimize the website to drive more organic demos from our target groups
  • Clearly understand site performance, analyse trends, and business results, and use this data to develop new actions to improve results

Business Strategy, Direction & Positioning

  • The ability to work to establish a content strategy that is coordinated with the brand’s philosophy and objectives across multiple platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, and Mobile and devise strategic content while upholding creativity standards of the agency.
  • Monitor digital, new media industry trends and competitor offerings to identify potential business avenues and improve current offerings that lead to better value for customers and higher financial value for Social Alpha.
  • Driving innovation and creativity for the brands on board.

Account Execution

  • Campaign content creation and overlooking on various digital platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
  • Conducting adequate research & gathering relevant material for interactive content development.
  • Develop innovative solutions including content management and maintenance of the brand’s digital platforms.
  • Creating an innovative buzz around the brand, its product promotions, launches, and brand-sponsored events.
  • Utilise Analytics to analyse and monitor the effectiveness of various aspects of the campaign such as community, traffic, conversations, engagements, leads, and conversions.

Essential Skills

  • Passionate about Digital Marketing – min 5 years of experience
  • A knack for identifying target audiences, knowing where to find them, creating awareness, encouraging engagement, and driving conversions.
  • Team player with a do-er mentality action-oriented, with a willingness to be hands-on
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced open environment

2. Marketing & Communications Analyst

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in account/client servicing
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design, journalism, marketing, communications, media studies, or a related field with an excellent academic record
  • Creative mindset and an ability to communicate compellingly in written and visual form
  • Structured thinker and good at managing processes
  • Experience working in high paced environments
  • Understanding of running social media campaigns, including analysis of data
  • Skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro Preferable
  • Experience working in WordPress and Squarespace Preferable
  • Experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Preferable

3. Content Writer

We are currently looking for an experienced Content Writer who can support the development and execution of the organization’s content strategy. The ideal candidate should be passionate about start-ups, Tech, and Innovation.

The candidate will work in Social Alpha’s core communications team. The candidate will actively build visibility and understanding of market opportunities across the organization.

The Role: –

The Role of the Content Writer is pivotal in the life of Social Alpha, embracing a wide range of responsibilities.

The role reports to the Head of Marketing and is responsible for the effective management of Social Alpha’s Content Strategies. This role is an Individual Contributor Role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Write crisp and engaging content
  • Create simple but impactful email templates, blogs, podcasts, social media copy and articles
  • Proofread and edit content before it is shared with the stakeholders
  • Collaborate with in-house teams to create subject-specific content
  • Identify needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics that can be used for blogs, podcasts, and other digital media
  • Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
  • Write and proofread copy for our core sectors and start-ups
  • Understand the brief and deliver within stipulated timelines
  • Write short form and long form content

Essential Experience:

  • Proven work experience as a content/copywriter or similar role (3-4 years)
  • Experience doing research using multiple sources
  • Familiarity with online publications
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems
  • Ability to meet deadlines and time-bound schedules with efficient time management
  • BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field is preferred
  • Certification in Instructional Design/ Content writing is preferred
  • A creative mind who would be comfortable challenging the status quo by being proactive and is able to pitch new ideas
  • Effective stakeholder management
