Title Consultant – Project Implementation(Enabling sustainable livelihoods towards building general well-being of tribal communities inVadodara district, Gujarat.)

Location /no. of positions Vadodara, Gujarat/ One

Duration of Engagement Co-terminus with Project duration which is till 30th September 2023. (Exte f work Project Implementation.

Nature of work Project Implementation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Implementation of programme activities in line with project goals and plans.
• Ensure that the project goals are delivered in an effective manner.
• Participate in and contribute to project reviews and monitoring processes as per the project requirements
• Timely preparation of project updates as may be needed for reporting purpose.
• Work closely with partners, allies and other stakeholders for the purpose of project implementation.
• Support in planning and organizing communities around project related goals and objectives.
• Support in liasioning and facilitating processes of meeting with government authorities on the programme issue as may be required.
• Work closely with local issue-based initiatives in furtherance of project goals
• Help build & nurture community leadership, volunteer engagements and local groups/organizations to support sustainability of the project
• Help in communication and outreach for the project through media linkages both print and electronic.
• Be responsible for any other emergent task that may be assign by the organization.

Reporting to Senior Project Lead, ActionAid Association (India)

Travel
As per role requirements.

Skills and Competencies

• Post Graduate in Social Sciences or equivalent.
• Two-three years’ experience of working with refuges and project coordination.
• Good interpersonal and communicational skills.
• Excellent organizing and coordination skills.
• High degree of efficiency and willingness to work under pressure.
  be a good team player, gender sensitive, having conviction and skills for the empowerment of the poor and disadvantaged groups

Fee Approx – Rs. 35000 per month (Including TDS)
