KHUSHI Project is supported by Hindustan Zinc Limited under Corporate Social Responsibility in Rajasthan. CARE India is executing the project KHUSHI in three blocks (Suwana, Shahpura and Hurda) of Bhilwara and 4 blocks (Gangrar, Bhadesar, Chittorgarh Rural and Chittorgarh urban) of Chittorgarh district.
The proposed project is based on the principle that an integrated program combining school readiness and development, nutrition, health improves child growth and development, contributing to improved long-term outcomes.
The project will maintain a primary focus on the 3-6 years of the age group for strengthening their developmental milestones and school readiness, health and hygiene to support their growth and development. The project will work towards developing the capacities of AWWs in preschool education, health and hygiene, ASHAs and AWHs on health and hygiene. Specifically, there will be an emphasis on the development of capacities, development of relevant teaching/ learning materials, working on issues of health & hygiene, provision of need-based support (equipment and renovations) for a limited number of AWCs.
The overall goal of the KHUSHI project is to strengthen the functionality and quality service delivery of the government’s Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) program to improve the health and well-being of children below 6 years of age.
JOB SUMMARY
The Documentation Officer, under the supervision of the Project Manager, will assist in documenting the learning and best practices, preparing the narrative reports (Monthly, Quarterly and Annual), case studies, blogs, proposal writing and writing content for publication. The Documentation officer will also participate in the events, training and document as well as support in documenting learning, process, and challenges.
