Join us for a Global Education Evidence Advisory Panel (GEEAP) webinar, as the panel – composed of world-class education experts, including Nobel Prize-winning economist Abhijit Banerjee – share the latest findings from their new report: 2023 Cost-effective approaches to improve global learning: What does recent evidence tell us are “Smart Buys” for improving learning in low- and middle-income countries?
The Global Education Evidence Advisory Panel is composed of world-class education experts, including Dr Rukmini Banerji, CEO of Pratham Education Foundation. Its mandate is to provide succinct, usable, and policy-focused recommendations to support policymakers’ decision-making on education and accelerate learning outcomes.
The online launch of the 2023 “Smart Buys” report is June 21. It is the third set of recommendations issued by the GEEAP. Read on to learn more and register for the event.
The report provides a guide for governments and other stakeholders in low- and middle-income countries. It advises about cost-effective practices in education that have shown improved learning outcomes, when implemented at scale.
It summarizes up-to-date evidence from a systematic search of over 13,000 studies, in a user-friendly way for policymakers. It groups different types of education policies and programmes into categories from ‘Great Buys’ to ‘Bad Buys’, and shares examples from different countries.
Join the panel to hear a short presentation which shares an overview of the findings, followed by a discussion with representatives from ministries of education.
